The Department of Social Service at Al-Leith University College (female section) held a seminar on the Future of Social Services at Al-Leith University College (Between Reality and Hope) on Monday 4 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H.

The seminar was conducted by the female students of the Department of Social Service (Field Training 3) and the training lecturer, Nawal Al-Qarhi. Its aim was to improve the status of social services training at the university college, improve the department's outputs, review inputs and some of the curricula, and help to find logical solutions to the problems of the department.

The seminar was attended by the Vice Dean of the College, Dr. Eman Al-Lihaibi, the Head of the Department of Social Service, Dr. Amir Al-Shahri, the Deputy Head of the Department, Dr. Rasha Majlad, and a large number of the department's professors. The seminar started with a talk about the advantages and efficiency of the Department of Social Service at the college level. The participants discussed this with statistics. The negative aspects surrounding the department were then discussed, and how these could be avoided in the future. After that, the question of training and the most important problems facing the training were discussed, as well as how to develop logical solutions suitable for the training environment in Al-Leith. There was a proposal to start training within the departments at the college immediately, and this proposal received the support of everyone present. The participants in the seminar addressed the most important problems facing female students. Dr. Eman Al-Lihaibi and Dr. Amir Al-Shahri responded to their inquiries and acknowledged their suffering in terms of lack of resources and possibilities. They agreed to form a committee, including a group of professors, to deal with problems within the college, and to elect a group of students to represent the female students in this committee. There was also an agreement to provide the building with the deficiencies needed by the students as soon as possible.

The seminar concluded on a positive note and great advice from the guests, with which the students interacted, to the students. The seminar was held under supervision of Ms. Nawal Al-Qarhi.
