The duties of the Committee are as follows:
- Review the vision, mission and strategic objectives of the college as well as the performance indicators, in conjunction with the staff of the college. This is followed by approving and publishing these objectives, according to the requirements of accreditation.
- Prepare a strategic plan for the college in accordance with the strategic plan of the university, and encourage the involvement of all the staff of the college in its preparation.
- Announce the strategic plan at all levels in the college, after it has been approved by the dean of the college and the University Vice Presidency for Development and Quality.
- Review and develop the strategic plan, periodically.
