UQU President Visits the University College in Al-Lith

The University College in Al-Lith Province, on Monday, 11/11/1439 AH, received Dr. Abdullah bin Omar Bafeel, in his visit to the university branch in Al-Lith Province. He was accompanied by Dr. Abdelaziz bin Rashab Sorouji, UQU Vice-President for Educational Affairs; Dr. Abdelmaguid bin Saeed Al-Ghamdi, UQU Vice-President for Branches; Dr. Mohamed bin Wasel Al-Hazmi, Advisor to UQU President and General Supervisor of Projects Managements; and officials of the relevant departments in the university. They were received by Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Maleki, dean of the University College in Al-Lith; Dr. Hadi bin Al-Hussein Al-Samadani, the vice dean of the University College; and the heads of the departments along with the faculty members. The visit included checking the needs of the college and its aspirations towards achieving distinguished education in accordance with the highest quality standards. It also focused on determining the potential of the college, its facilities and various buildings in both male and female sections, meeting with its students, their parents, and the people of Al-Lith Province at the college theater.

During his visit, UQU President revealed that working on the designs of the University City in Al-Lith Province will be started, along with the implementation of (4) urgent buildings in order to dispense with the buildings rented in the branches, and promoting the educational environment. He pointed out that the good government – May Allah support it- provided financial support and high-qualified human cadres in order to graduate national cadres who contribute to the service of their religion and their homeland.

In his turn, Dr. Al-Malki, lauded the visit paid by UQU President and his accompanying deans, pointing out that this visit is an extension his unlimited support and continuous follow-up in order to address the needs and hopes of the faculty members and students, and to closely determine the college’s aspirations aiming to achieve the highest quality levels in the academic and research process through the ten departments of the College. He pointed out that the announcement of the university administration's intention to start implementing four urgent buildings will achieve a qualitative leap in the course of the college – in Allah’s willing- and will enhance its capabilities in improving the presentation of its various scientific programs and activities to achieve the Kingdom vision 2030.This visit comes as a continuation of the improvement of the college equipment after the transfer of a number of its sections to the new educational complex for  the female students (Building B / C) that are borrowed from Al-Lith Province Education Directorate, which was equipped with the latest educational and office equipment, and where the study started at the beginning of the second semester of the last academic year 1438\1439 AH.
