The Department of English Language Organizes a Course Entitled: “How to Speak English Confidently in Public”

The Department of English Language at Al-Leith University College held a training course for students of the department, entitled: “How to Speak English Confidently in Public”, on Tuesday, 11 Rajab 1442 A.H., via the Blackboard platform, in English.

This course, which was attended by many students, was supervised by Mr. Ahmad Hajjo, a lecturer at the department.

The supervisor of this course dealt with five basic topics:

  1. The Main Objective of the Workshop.
  2. Definition of Public Speaking.
  3. Difficulties of Speaking English in Public
  4. Proposed Solutions to Overcome Challenges of Speaking English in Public.
  5. Gap Fillers to Use When You Panic While Speaking English in Public.

At the end of the course, the attendees were given an opportunity to ask questions and make inquiries about the topic of the workshop.
