Al-Leith University College celebrated the 90th National Day of the Saudi Kingdom on Tuesday, 12 Safar, 1442 A.H., at 11:30 a.m., remotely, via WebEx. The ceremony was held under the patronage of His Excellency the Dean of Al-Leith University College, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Maliki, and in the presence of their excellencies the vice deans of the college, heads of the departments, deputy heads of the departments, academic staff members, male and female employees, and a great number of the students of Al-Leith University College.

The ceremony, introduced by the student Sultan Al-Zahrani from the Media Department, started with the Saudi Royal Salute, followed by a recitation of the Noble Qur'an. Afterwards, the Vice Dean of the College for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, His Excellency Dr. Raid Al-Thaqafi, recited a poem for this occasion. This was followed by a presentation of the most important works performed by the students of Al-Leith University College on the occasion of the National Day. Winners of the students in the male and female sections of the college were honored with the award for the "Best Artistic and Media Work", and the award for the "Best National Poem and Article" about the National Day.

His Excellency the Dean of Al-Leith University College delivered his speech on this occasion, in which he congratulated the Wise Leadership and the Saudi people on this great occasion that made a difference to modern history, when Allah (Exalted be He) dedicated to this country this noble man, King Abdulaziz bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Saud (may Allah bestow His Mercy on him). He laid the foundation of this great nation, with Allah's support, on firm bases: the Book of Allah and the teachings of Islam. He was succeeded by his righteous sons who followed the same sound method and wise vision, till this prosperous era under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, (may Allah safeguard them). The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has an influential position, praise be to Allah, in international decision-making. Dr. Al-Maliki also praised what the students of the college had offered of national participations throughout the whole week, which have been published on the college account on Twitter since the beginning of the activities of the college last Tuesday. "By celebrating this dear occasion, we remember our responsibility to actively participate in building our country in different fields," he added, noting that celebrating the achievements of our country will remain present in our minds. After this, he wished perpetual prosperity and welfare to this generous country.

Moreover, His Excellency expressed his profound thanks and appreciation to the President of the University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, for his support to the activities of the college, and to the Deanship of E-Learning at the university for preparing the virtual ceremony for this great occasion. He also expressed his thanks to the Committee for Celebrating the National Day at the college, and to all those who participated in preparing and attending the ceremony.
