Al-Leith University College held an introductory meeting for the female students of the Evening Qualifying Year Programs via the Webex platform, at 10:30 a.m., on Tuesday, 27 Muharram, 1442 A.H. The meeting was attended by all the students of the Evening Qualifying Year. The meeting was also honored by the presence of the Deputy Head of Programs at the College of Community Service and Continuing Education, Dr. Amal Al-Fathami.
The session began with the royal anthem, which was followed by a recitation of some verses of the Noble Qur'an. Next, Her Excellency the Vice Dean of the College and Executive Supervisor of the Qualifying Year Programs at Al-Leith University College, Prof. Eman bint Aqil Al-Lihaibi, delivered a speech in which she welcomed the female students. She also gave them an introduction about the programs, which are considered to be a valuable opportunity for the female students who were not able to obtain admission to the university. These programs enable the students to join the bachelor programs at the university, after successfully passing the Qualifying Year. Prof. Eman also briefed them on the most important regulations related to the programs, including enrolling in a specialization after successfully completing the program, the conditions for passing the program, and the different available specializations. Moreover, she urged the students to work hard and show diligence in their learning in order to achieve their aspirations. Finally, the meeting was concluded by listening and answering the questions asked by the female students.
