The University College in Al-Leith Submits the 1439–1440 Academic Year Annual Report to His Excellency the UQU President

The number of training courses provided by the departments of Al-Leith University College, during the academic year 1439–1440 A.H., reached 122 training courses comprising various fields. The number of papers presented by academic staff members reached 80 in the areas of scientific research. These papers participated in 32 international conferences. Moreover, 30 teaching assistants and lecturers received scholarships to complete their postgraduate studies.

This information was included in the college annual report for the academic year 1439–1440 which was handed to His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah Bafail, in his office today, Wednesday, by the Dean of the College, Dr. Muhammad Al-Maliki, in the presence of His Excellency the Vice Dean of the College, Dr. Omar Al-Salihi, and the Vice Dean for Educational Affairs, Dr. Makhlad Al-Saeedi.

Furthermore, Dr. Al-Maliki talked about the major achievements of the college during the past academic year, which consisted in realizing the strategic goals of the university. This was accomplished by formulating and approving a college-specific action plan, updating the study plans of the postgraduate and preparatory-year programs, improving learning resources, enhancing the experience of students in terms of knowledge and skill acquisition, developing the counseling and guidance system, and supporting outstanding and creative students.

The report also outlined the college's efforts to meet the requirements of institutional accreditation by achieving high standards, in addition to its participation in the membership of committees concerned with internal auditing and self-study for the university.
