Under the auspices of the Dean of Al-Leith University College, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Maliki, Al-Leith University College organized a training course for the faculty members of the college at noon on Sunday, 13 Rajab, 1441 A.H. The course was supervised by Mr. Ahmad Hajjou, a lecturer in the Department of English Language, and Mr. Al-Bara Ridini, a teaching assistant in the Department of Physics. The lecture tackled the following themes:
- Explaining how to log into the Blackboard e-learning system.
- Explaining the content of the system's home page.
- Explaining how different types of content are uploaded, including course files, videos, pictures, and audios, and how to link them to the Blackboard system.
- Explaining how the Bb Collaborate angle works in the system, in order to make use of it in creating a virtual classroom.
- Explaining how to deal with the various elements of evaluation when creating an assignment, a test, etc.
The faculty members attending the course also had the opportunity to make inquiries, raise questions, and apply the topics covered by the course on the Blackboard learning system.
