Al-Leith University College team defeated Adham University College team 2–0. This came within the UQU President's Cup in the round of (16) teams, and qualified Al-Leith team to the quarter-finals.

On his part, the Dean of Al-Leith University College, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Maliki, congratulated the students for accomplishing this achievement, and urged them to continue to be successful to win the UQU President's Cup.
