The Department of Da`wah and Islamic Culture (female section) at Al-Leith University College launched an initiative entitled "Youth, the source of hope, and their role in achieving Saudi Vision 2030."
The initiative aims to encourage young people to conduct research in areas in which they feel they can innovate, and to work hard on their projects to achieve success, because in their success lies the success of the country and movement towards the realization of the ambitious Saudi Vision 2030 - Allah willing.
Invitations were distributed among the students of various UQU departments in the main building. Six students were involved in the organization of the initiative and the number of beneficiaries amounted to 90 students. The activities included a Power Point presentation about Saudi Vision 2030, hopes for the youth, and their future view of our beloved Kingdom.
One of the students delivered a welcome speech to the honorable guests, faculty staff, professors, and students, followed by a presentation about Saudi Vision 2030, the National Transformation Program (NTP), the hopes for the development and progress of our beloved Kingdom, and the strategic progress that will be realized in the coming years under the wise leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz. A student recited a poem about the activities of the program and another student distributed leaflets bearing the slogan of the activity. The honorable guests also received a copy of the activity's magazine.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Mona Al-Naqib, Dr. Hajar Bura`i, Dr. Rania Fikri, Dr. Sara Babikir, Ms. Sawsan Kamal, and Ms. Nabila Al-Shareef.
In conclusion, the activity coordinator, Ms. Mona Al-Thaqafi, gave a speech in which she thanked all the attendants and participants, followed by sincere prayers and wishes for a bright future for our beloved country.
