Al-Leith Social Services Department (female section) launched a voluntary initiative in the medical field entitled "Your Body Has a Right on You" on Monday 4 Rajab, 1440 A.H.
The event was held by the female students of the Department of Social Service with the aim of raising health awareness about the importance of a healthy diet for patients in hospitals and all members of the community, to emphasize the importance of drinking water and its impact on the health, to increase the playing of sports in the community and highlight its impact on improving the psychological state of individuals.
A presentation was made about how to prepare some types of healthy food and some sports competitions were held to highlight the value of sport and its impact on an individual's psychological state. The importance of drinking water mixed with natural fruit flavors was also discussed, along with the importance of Zamzam water.
The activity was held under the supervision of the Deputy Head of the Department, Dr. Rasha Majlad, and the course instructor, Dr. Ibtisam Al-Hajari.
