The Department of Family Education (female section) presented a training course entitled "Formation on Mannequins and Evening Wear" on Monday, 13 Safar, 1440 A.H.
The trainer, Dr. Ibtisam Al-Hajari, prepared a training course on the formation of mannequins and evening wear to explain the importance of using a mannequin in fashion, which is of interest to female graduates and students of the Department of Family Education and graduates of other departments who want to gain a new skill. The students learnt about the importance of formation on mannequins, the features of mannequins and how to use them, and how to apply their knowledge to make mannequins, dresses, and different garments. In addition, the female trainees learned how to make suitable patterns for different designs, and how to utilize them in their field of work.
The course intended to open new horizons, using modern technology that may help female students cope with the difficulties of life, and encourage the female students to work at home. It was also designed to provide female students with training in different life skills.
This course was held under the supervision of the Head of the Department, Prof. Amal Uwais, and the supervisor of the Female Graduates Department, Dr. Amal Nasr Jaafar.
