The Department of Physics (Female Section) held a course entitled "Mental Calculation and the Wonders of Mathematics," on Wednesday 20 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H. The course was conducted by Dr. Na`imah Matirawi and the female students of the Department of Physics.
The aim of the course was to develop mathematical skills and boost the students' self-confidence in relying on themselves rather than using calculators. The course also aimed to strengthen students' memories, develop their thinking abilities, enhance their understanding and analysis skills, and strengthen their auditory focus.
The activity was held under the supervision of Dr. Nihad Al-Sha`ir and the course supervisor, Dr. Na`imah Matirawi.
