The Department of Social Service in Al-Leith held a lecture entitled 'How to Improve Your Resume', which was delivered by Prof. Amal Aydiyyah. At the beginning of the lecture, Dr. Amal gave a simple explanation of the steps in writing resumes, and clarified the different sections of the resume: personal data, academic qualifications, and work experience.
Dr. Amal also gave examples of the academic local and international associations in which the graduates should participate. In addition, an explanation was given of how to register in international journals as a referee, as well as how to register as an editor in the editorial board of the international journals. A presentation was made on the most important scientific programs in which the students should acquire experience, such as graph drawing programs and programs for drawing chemical structures. In addition, a presentation was made of how to register a patent, and how to register in the five popular search engines.
At the end of the lecture, all the questions raised by the attendees were answered, and they were then thanked for attending.
