Under the slogan "Generation of Ambition," the Cultural Committee held the presentation day for the academic year 1439/1440 A.H., which started at 10:00am with a welcoming introduction followed by a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. Then, Dr. Eman Al-Lihaibi, Dean of the University College in Al-Leith, gave a speech urging the students to show diligence, and explained to them important information about the college. She concluded her speech by wishing the students much success in the academic year.
After that, an overview of the vision, mission, and academic departments of the University Collage was presented, followed by a speech in which Dr. Nouf Al-Abbas, Supervisor of the Admission and Registration Unit, explained the rules and regulations of the college, and how they apply to the students.
After that, Ms. Aisha Al-Harqani presented the part of the program entitled "My Major is the Secret of My Uniqueness," during which she talked about the importance of specialization in human development, development and creativity, and how specialization and attention to it is a factor in the advancement of society and serving the nation, in which everyone should play an effective role. She also talked about the impact of science in the development of student personality.
Thereafter, the part of the program entitled "Student Activity ... Student First" was presented by Ms. Latifah Al-Usaimi, during which the female students learned about the student activities, their importance, their goals, and their benefits, and she urged them to participate in them in order to achieve the vision of the young Prince Mohammed bin Salman regarding the importance of the role of youth in realizing the vision of the modern kingdom.
After that, Ms. Fatima Al-Barakati presented a section entitled "University Security is the Responsibility of All." The students were acquainted with the most important activities, services, and systems of the college administration. Students were then presented with a student role model for a successful experiment, such as the model student Amal Al-Nashiri, who won the University Role Model competition, to present her experience to the students. "For a wonderful university life", a group of students gave advice to the new female students about how to be happy in their university study.
In conclusion, the prizes were drawn and the program was concluded by honoring the College Vice Dean for the team involved in preparing, directing, and organizing the program which took place under the supervision of Dr. Rasha Majlad.
