Psychology and Education Department organized a training course entitled, 'Good Memorization Skills', on Wednesday, 27 Safar, 1440 A.H.
The course aimed at:
- Preparing female students at the college to be ready for the final exams by being acquainted with good memorization skills, and how to make the optimal use of memory abilities.
- Providing female students with complete knowledge about human memory and its different processes.
- Making female students acquainted with types of information that the human mind can deal with, how to deal with them, and the different stages in dealing with information, such as attention, encoding, treatment, storage and retrieval.
- Informing female students about different ways to memorize and retrieve information, such as numbering, different forms of recitation and retention.
The course was conducted under the auspices of the Head of the Department, Dr. Eman Al-Harthi, and was presented by Dr. Samah Ahmad Arafah.
