On Tuesday Rabi` Al-Awwal 12, 1440 A.H., a football match was played for the UQU President's Cup for the current academic year. The match was organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs and was held at the Sports Hall, Al-`Abdiyyah Campus. Al-Lith University College played against the preparatory year. Al-Lith University College won the match 5-1.
The Dean of Al-Lith University College, Dr. Muhammad Al-Malky, congratulated the college team for winning this match and wished them luck in qualifying for the championship finals.
The Al-Lith College team includes Mr. Saud Al-Majhoud as supervisor, Mr. Khalid Al-Zebiany as a coach, and Mr. Abdullah Al-Shmarany as an administrator. The team's starting lineup is Rashid Al-Malky, Saeed Lafy, Al-Hassan Al-Mahdawy, Hashim Al-Hartoumy, Ahmad Al-Mazeeny, Ali Hassan Al-Mahdawy, Ibrahim Al-Jably, Abdul-Rahman Al-Assafy, Abdul-Aziz Al-Assafy, Ahmad Al-Malky, and Ahmad Ridah Al-Mazeeny.
