The University College in Al-Leith has organized a training course entitled: "Program Output Indicators" for the staff and faculty members of the College. The course was delivered by Dr. Ali Al-Hassani, the supervisor of the Quality and Academic Development Unit at the boys section, and Dr. Amal Oayes, the supervisor of the Quality and Academic Development Unit at the girls section.
The course has dealt with a number of topics related to development and quality in accordance with the university plan to achieve the quality of performance and meet the requirements of institutional accreditation and enhancing teamwork. This would leave an impact on the process of education within the college. This course is also part of the development program that contributes to enhancing the methods and work of faculty members.
The session started by welcoming participants and praising the efforts of the Dean of the College in promoting the culture of quality in the college. Then, a discussion took place about the Saudi educational framework, linking it to the learning outputs, how to measure its impact on students, and improving the curricula and lectures. Training was conducted on the use and conclusion of related results in the mechanisms of development, quality, impact measurement and analysis of results, as the focus was on how to measure the targeted indicators of learning outputs for all the academic programs of the University College in Al-Leith in addition to the direct and indirect methods to measure and use these outputs as a basis for continuous planning and improvement.
At the end of the course, certificates of attendance were given to the participants.
