Under the slogan of (Generation of Ambition), the University College in Al-Lith held a forum for its new female students for the academic year 1439/1440 AH, at the Student Activities Hall, Main Female Students Building. The Cultural Committee presented the speech of the forum, which started at 10:00 with a welcoming introduction, followed by a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. Then, Dr. Eman Al-Lahibi, dean of the University College in Al-Lith, gave a speech urging the students to show their diligence, and explained to them what is important about the college to know. She concluded her speech by wishing students to succeed, and have a successful academic year. After that, an overview of the University College, its vision and mission to the academic departments was presented and followed by a speech that Dr. Nouf al-Abbas, supervisor of the Admission and Registration Unit, delivered, in which she explained the rules of the college and its regulations and how the student deals with them. After that, Ms. Aisha Al-Harqani presented part of the program entitled: (My Major is the Secret of My Uniqueness), during which she talked about the importance of specialization in human development, its development and creativity, and how specialization and attention to it is a factor in the advancement of society and serving the nation, as everyone should play an effective role. She also showed the impact of science in the development of student personality and building in all aspect. Thereafter, part of the program entitled (Student Avtivity.. Student First) was presented by Ms. Latifa Al-Assaimi, during which the female students learned about the student activities, their importance, their goals and their benefits, and she urged them to participate in it in order to achieve the vision of the young Prince Mohammed bin Salman in the importance of the youth role in realizing the vision of the modern kingdom. After that, Ms. Fatima Al-Barakati presented part entitled: "University Security is the Responsibility of All". The students were acquainted with the most important activities, services and system of the college administration. Then, the program presented to the students a model for a successful experiment, such as the model student Amal al-Nashiri, who won the University Role Model competition, to present her experience to the students. During the program she gave a lecture entitled "For a wonderful university life". A group of students gave pieces of advice to the new female students to be followed in order to be happy in their university study. In conclusion, the prizes were drawn and the program was concluded by honoring the College's Vice Dean for the team involved in preparing, directing and organizing the program.
