Within a series of training workshops organized by the Graduates Committee, the Department of Social Service held a training workshop titled: (Managing Case Studies Based on General Practice Model) On Monday 16 Jumada Al-Akhira 1439AH.
The main objectives of the workshop included developing the traditional educational process into modern and effective methods in the form of specialized application courses that add to the student's experience and knowledge. The aim was also to provide students with various technical skills, such as interview skills, registration skills, communication skills, assessment skills and discussion skills, in addition to many other professional and scientific skills. The workshop also sought to provide students with the experience of application and practice; as both are two of the most important reasons for the success of social workers in the future. Students who attended the workshop received certificates of attendance they can use in the training and practical field.
The workshop was delivered through a Powerpoint presentation, as an application of case subject to bullying in the educational field was presented. The case was discussed in accordance with the practice model as a modern treatment model that addresses these kinds of issues. Additionally, questionnaires were distributed on the attendees to assess the workshop.
The workshop was delivered by faculty member Salma Al-Majnouni from the Department of Social Service.
