The Psychology and Education Department at Al-Leith University College took part in voluntary work, cultivating the external yard of building (B), on Wednesday, 13 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H. The event was carried out by the female students of the Department of Social Work, as part of the community organization course 1, division (143), offered by the Education and Psychology Department.
The activity aims:
1. To encourage students to engage in volunteer work.
2. To encourage students to upgrade the educational environment.
3. To consolidate the culture of volunteering, and develop the spirit of responsibility among the female students.
4. To encourage students to maintain the beauty of the environment by planting and cleaning it.
5. To encourage students to preserve plants and keep watering them using excess water, instead of just throwing this water in the college yards.
6. To spread a spirit of cooperation among the students, and encourage them to decorate the college yards and keep them clean, and also promote the spirit of teamwork.
The activity was launched on 13 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H., by providing the opportunity for female students to plant small trees in the external yard of building "B", under the supervision of Dr. Eman Al-Harthi and the course teacher Dr. Fawziya Banaama.
