The Department of Education and Psychology (Girls Section) organized a celebration to mark the World Teachers’ Day under the title: (World Teachers’ Day), on Wednesday, 21-1-1439. The activity was carried out by the female students of the Departments of Family Education, Social Work and English. On October 5 of each year, the World Teachers’ Day is marked. It aims to honor teachers and appreciate their efforts. It is a special day for the celebration of this man, who presents his knowledge and experiences to his students, so that they may be their father, educator and teacher. The teacher is the noblest of people, because s\he is like an inexhaustible spring and a fruit tree that never fails to give fruit to anyone who gathers it. Without the teacher, science could not be spread, and people have not known advancement and progress, because it is the basis of progress and development of societies; it is the honest hand that holds the hands of generations to reach the light of science and safety. Some of the paintings, phrases and songs relating to the World Teachers’ Day were presented, in addition to the distribution of some commemorative items to the members on this occasion. It was under the supervision of the head of the Department, Dr. Iman Al-Harthy, and Professors of the course: Dr. Sarah Al-Kidwi, Dr. Lamia Shawley, and Dr. Noura Al-Zahrani
