The Department of Education and Psychology (Girls section) presented an activity, on Wednesday, 1/7/1439 AH, under the title of "bullying" so as to raise awareness on it. It was carried out by the female students of the Department of Social Work. Bullying is a form of abuse and offending directed by an individual or group towards an individual or group that is weaker (mostly physically). The female students introduced the definition of bullying, its forms and types, such as school bullying and verbal, physical, emotional and electronic bullying. They also talked about the effects of bullying and its damage on the bully such as: loneliness, depression, weakness, sadness, fear, and it may reach suicide. Moreover, they showed some videos for children representing bullying in schools, and they distributed leaflets to raise awareness and limit the practice of such behavior. This was under the supervision of the head of the Department, Dr. Rasha Majlad, and the professor of the course: Dr. Sara Al-Kidwi.
