The Department of Social Work (Girls Section) presented an exhibition entitled: (Voluntary ideas for the development of the university community), on Sunday, 23-6-1439, and the event was activated by female students of the Department of Social Work in the community organization course 1, divisions (141) - ( 142) - (143). The exhibition included six ideas: the student closet to help students keep the supplies inside, and the artistic corner that allows students to practice hobbies and drink coffee in break between lectures, such as (reading books, drawing, handicrafts), in addition to building a small mosque inside the new building (B) and providing it with the Holy Quran and prayers books, as well as religious signs of prayers and Qibla direction. Other ideas are the afforestation that provides the opportunity for female students to plant roses and small trees, and strengthens the natural environment through the activation of the concept of planting, as well as the preservation of the "leftovers" by placing boxes dedicated to this in the corridors. The aim of this exhibition was to refine the concept of charitable volunteering through the introduction of a group of voluntary ideas by the female students. These ideas seek to develop the university community and link these ideas to social service by clarifying the role of social organizer-"social worker at the level of community organization"- in applying those ideas in the educational environment. The event was under the supervision of the vice-dean of the Department, Dr. Rasha Magled, and Prof. Laila Aboud.
