The Department of Arabic Linguistics, Arabic Morphology and Syntax (Female Section) celebrated with Arabic Language on its International Day under the title: (Arabic Language and Modern Technologies) on Wednesday, 25/03/1439.
The students organized the event that is designed to supporting Arabic Language in the modern technologies, through the social networking websites and sharing some standard Arabic words. Some examples are: using the word (Qorob “in English: Group”) instead of (Majmoua), using the word (Hasnan or Tamamn) instead of (Ok) and others.Also, they presented some websites that are interested in Arabic language, including www.alukah.net, https://www.alfaseeh.com, www.m-a-arabia.com, and www.baheth.info.
Moreover, a group of brochures and leaflets were brought from the King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz International Center for Arabic Language.
