Applications Department

The Applications Department is concerned with supervising all kinds of information systems in UQU in terms of analysis, design, development, management, and support. Moreover, the Department undertakes coordination and supervision over the third parties that partake in developing and operating special systems for UQU. Also, the Department ensures the work environment appropriate for the divisions, and seeks to constantly follow up work and assess the performance of the divisions’ affiliates.


The Applications Department includes the following divisions:

1- Modular Systems Division (Oracle)

The division supervises the analysis, design, development, management and support of a group of information and modular systems. The most important of them are the following:

  • Student Information Management System
  • Personnel Affairs System
  • Finance System
  • Supporting Systems


E-Portal Division:

This division supervises the management of the e-portal of staff and students, which includes self-services as the academic subjects registration and reporting term results to faculty members.

Supporting Portals Division:

This division supervises the supporting e-portals management, such as Recruitment Portal, and Residence Portal for all the faculty members and students. 


Databases Division:

The division is concerned with supervising the databases management, access authorization, database-related servers, and backup operations.
