Overview

The Continuing and Specialized Training Department is concerned with the development of the staff's capacities and competencies in accordance with the work requirements and the advanced technologies used in information technology. This Department is entrusted with studying and preparing proposals for the continuing, specialized and accredited training plans and programs, adjusting the training plans and programs, establishing partnerships with national, regional and international training associations that are competent in training. Moreover, it provides the work requirements for its divisions, and pursues to constantly follow up work and assess the performance of departments' staff. This Department has two divisions that work in an integrated manner to perform the assigned tasks, in cooperation with the rest of departments to attain the operational plan objectives of the Vice Deanship. It includes the following divisions:

 


Continuing Training Division

 

Tasks:

  • Studying and preparing proposals for the continuing and accredited training plans and programs within and outside the Deanship.
  • Coordinating and following up the continuing training programs' implementation within and outside the Deanship.
  • Evaluating and changing the continuing training plans and programs.
  • Creating an updated database to follow up the continuing training activities.
  • Establishing partnerships with the training associations inside and outside the university in the field of continuing training.
  • Preparing periodic and annual reports on the conduct of continuing training activities plans and programs.

Specialized Training Division

 

Tasks:

  • Studying and preparing proposals for the specialized and accredited training plans and programs within and outside the Deanship.
  • Coordinating and following up the specialized training programs' implementation within and outside the Deanship.
  • Evaluating and adjusting the specialized training plans and programs.
  • Creating an updated database to follow up the specialized training activities.
  • Establishing partnerships with the training associations inside and outside the university in the field of specialized training.
