Overview

The Planning and Quality Administration prepares and develops the measurement and evaluation tools of the processes to assess and lay out plans and accreditation policies institutionally administratively and program wise, for the vice-deanship especially, and the deanship generally. It also selects the institutional frameworks, methodologies and components that support the objectives of the vice-deanships and the deanship. Additionally, this administration conducts consulting to improve quality and look ahead at the level of departments, administrations and deanships.

The Planning and Quality Administration consists of three departments working in an integrated manner to carry out the tasks entrusted to the administration. The supervisor of the administration is responsible for coordinating and following up the work with the other administrations of the vice-deanships in order to achieve the objectives of the operational plan. The administration also secures the work needs of the department and seeks to continuously follow up the work as well as assess the performance of the department's staff. The administration includes the following departments:


Department of Planning and Strategy Management

This department is entrusted with the following tasks:

  • Taking part in laying out the strategic and executive plans as well as the general policies of improving and managing the conduct of work.
  • Preparing and developing the measurement and evaluation tools of the assessment process.
  • Laying out the plans as well as the policies of accreditation, institutionally, administratively and program wise.
  • Offering support to all departments and deanship administrations in the field of accreditation.

Quality Assurance Department

The department carries out the following tasks:

  • Managing quality affairs in the deanship and coordinating with the Quality Assurance Committees within UQU.
  • Proposing improvement procedures and submitting them to the administration and leadership of the Deanship based on the results of the evaluation.
  • Providing consultations to improve quality and look ahead at the level of departments, administrations and Deanships.
  • Preparing quality reports for the administration of the Deanship.

Institutional Architecture Department

This department is entrusted with the following tasks:

  • Selecting the optimal institutional and architectural frameworks, as well as methodologies and components to support the objectives of the administrations, the Deanship and the University.
  • Dissemination of institutional architectural concepts, and training of a group of workers on the adopted methodologies and the used tools.
  • Designing the mechanisms of institutional architecture and the tasks of its workers.
  • Building an integrated, comprehensive and coherent knowledge base for all the architectural components of the work of the Deanship and the University.
  • Integrated management of the change within the Deanship and UQU.
  • Supporting modern methodologies for resource and technical systems development and management, as well as supporting the procedures of technical services management
  • Enabling efficient transition to futuristic architecture of business and technology within the Deanship and the university.
  • Creating an environment for the communication and dissemination of the common concepts of the work of the Deanship and the University.
