On Sunday, 14 Rabi` Al-Thani, 1442 A.H., the Deanship of Information Technology launched the second phase of the "Wafy System" workshops at the headquarters of the General Administration in Al-Abdiyyah. The workshops targeted departments related to financial affairs, contracts, warehouses, and purchases, to achieve integration between the relevant bodies via the electronic network.
CRP2 represents sessions presenting the second phase of the ERP system, which were held after sessions concerned with presenting the first system (CRP1) and included workshops and a discussion of the remarks given on the first phase by the concerned administrations. It should be noted that the outcomes of the presentation sessions (second phase), including the remarks and modifications, will be presented during the training and system examination phases.
"Wafy" is an integrated electronic system that includes the automation of all financial and administrative processes at the university, known as the Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP). This system is implemented by the Deanship of Information Technology with the direct support and follow-up of the UQU President, Dr. Moaddi bin Muhammad Aal Madh-hab, and His Excellence the UQU Vice President, Dr. Farid bin Ali Al-Ghamdi.
