Following up all the executive procedures made by those concerned, and ensuring the validity of each procedure
Approving all the warehouse procedures taken by signing all the letters and models related to them
Identifying the amounts to be redeemed with all items included after examining its availability which is mentioned in the item cards, and which ensures the redeeming inclusiveness and fairness for all the University’s sectors
Receiving all the examination and surveying requests from all the University’s sectors, and forwarding them to those concerned to tackle them
Participating in all the work of the committees such as Examinations Committee, Inventory Committee, Bids Analysis Committee; and deciding on the appropriate bids the University’s warehouses are supplied with
Supervising the safety and validity of the storage procedures in terms of proper spacing and shelving and coding the item according to the nature of each item and supplying date; and redeeming them according to the priority of supplying date to avoid Obsolescence and damage
Pinpointing the appropriate means for loading and handling such as manual or electric levers, stairs, shelves; and following up their maintenance
Determining the appropriate means for security and safety within the warehouses such as electric doors, fire extinguishers and alarm systems; and following up its validity and maintenance
Doing periodical and surprising inventory count for ensuring the intactness of the actual and registered stock, or guaranteeing the validity of the receiving and delivering procedures among warehouse keepers
Following up the inventory of the fixed assets owned by the University by computer-based recording, or by tags bearing serial numbers
Signing all the letters sent to the competent authority and all entities
Supervising the attendance of the Warehouses Department’s staff, their seconding, their naming for training courses; and periodically approving job performance assessment reports
Preparing the reports sought about the Warehouses Department’s work and achievements, and submitting them to the entities concerned
