The Vice Dean for Quality, under the supervision of the Dean, coordinates Umm Al-Qura University’s internal quality assurance system through making the general policy for quality assurance and performance appraisal at all academic and administrative units. This is in addition to disseminating the culture of quality and continuously improving quality levels, and promoting the University’s relative competitive situation among the rest of higher education institutions. The Vice Deanship is also concerned with developing the general policy for academic accreditation; winning the national and international society’s trust in and recognition of the University’s output; providing technical support to academic units and auxiliary deanships in the areas of quality and accreditation.
