In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, and peace and blessings be upon the master of all Prophets and Messengers.
The Deanship of Development and Quality seeks to become a role model to be followed by other Saudi universities in the fields of development and quality, at the levels of both the work environment and individuals.
Performance development, process improvement, quality improvement, increasing output values, and contributing to obtaining accreditations and national and international certificates are important issues, but the most important task is to keep maintaining these accomplishments.
The success of the UQU obtaining institutional accreditation and also a number of the UQU programs obtaining national and international accreditation is considered to be the most important achievement accomplished by the deanship and a real support to the UQU quality systems. This is because academic accreditation indicates compliance with quality standards and a tendency towards continuous improvement. In addition, it is considered to be a means to achieve the highest level of quality and to promote the beneficiaries' trust in the UQU transactions and outcomes.
In this regard, establishing the culture of development and quality to become one of the basic goals of all the activities of the university makes the university pass through various levels, including: development, quality, excellence and then innovations, in an ongoing process which lead to achieving the deanship's objectives.
To apply these concepts and values and achieve this vision, the senior management of the deanship started a project to automate its administrative and academic processes and procedures. It is also currently developing an implementation strategy to digitize all its work and services.
In addition, the deanship is developing an operational plan to provide effective support, development and training for all its affiliates and increase the opportunities for them participate by directly communicating and interacting with the deanship, to qualify them to become ambassadors of development and quality.
