Among the most services provided by the University Development and Quality Deanship is to ensure the applying of quality standards within the Umm Al-Qura University’s departments. This is performed through many aspects, of which are:
- Spreading the culture of academic accreditation and ensuring the quality of education as far as the University’s academic and administrative units are concerned.
- Assessing the technical support in terms of the quality and accreditation for all the academic units, supporting deanships and general departments according to their needs.
- Supervising the University’s activities related to the national and international quality assurance and academic accreditation.
- Ensuring the quality of teaching and learning in a manner that makes the student gaining teaching objectives according to the requirements of the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment, and the National Qualifications Framework in the Kingdom
- Propagating the culture of quality in a way that achieves the University’s vision and mission and its objectives
- Following up the procedures of quality assurance in the colleges, supporting deanships and administrative units
