The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is a branch of the clinical medical sciences. It is concerned with the teaching of anatomical and functional composition of the reproductive system of women and its related diseases and the ways to deal and treat them. The Department is also concerned with the pregnancy, the natural childbirth and its alternatives through the knowledge of anatomical, functional, pathological, diagnostic and therapeutic sciences of gynecology and learning the natural childbirth, its alternatives, its complications and how to deal with it under all possible conditions.
