Idea of the Competition

Under the conditions experienced currently in most of the countries in the world, distance education has become the best choice. It is worth mentioning that education is not limited to video lectures that include oral explanations of lessons, but it is a complex process that requires a special mechanism to convey information. This process depends basically on providing special interactive features as well as actual contact with the educational environment, in order to make up for the lack of direct communication between the source and recipient.

Based on the aforementioned, the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Umm Al-Qura University has launched the "Competition for the Best Innovative Idea to Deliver Distance Practical Lectures" for those interested and specialized in this field, including academic staff members and students. The idea of the competition came as a result of the current demand for distance learning, and the need to facilitate the students' reception of information.
