Roles and responsibilities:
- Apply UQU policies regarding safety and security in offices, classes and labs.
- Check fire-distinguishers expiry date, early fire-alarm system function and report any damage or dysfunction.
- Make an annual inventory for safety and security equipment and report any maintenance or replacement order.
- Check exits and fire-exit signs for illumination and proper directions. Plan a fire drill for the staff and students to properly experience evacuation plans and assembly points.
- Submit a report detailing the level of accomplishment for the roles above and providing future suggestions and improvements.
