UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs Prof. Abdul-Aziz bin Rashad Al-Sorouji has launched the official account of the UQU Vice Presidency for Educational Affairs on Twitter (Vr_academics) on Sunday Rajab 12, 1438 H corresponding to April 9, 2017 in the presence of the Dean of e-Learning and Distance Education Dr. Khalid Al-Mutairi and the Vice Dean of e-Learning and Distance Education Dr. Sultan Al-Mutairi. 

Upon launching the new page Dr. Al-Sorouji posted the first tweet in which he wrote: in the name of Allah we are posting the first tweet, first and foremost we would like to thank Allah, then the UQU President and special thanks to the Deanship of e-Learning and Distance Education for this valuable initiative".   

This came during a work session held at the office of the UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs in which the current and future programs and projects of the Deanship of e-Learning and Distance Education were discussed.
