In light of the tremendous development in communication and information technologies, the high level of awareness of the importance of training, learning, and life-long education, and the favorable political climate for continuous improvement to enhance the educational outcomes, e-learning has become the keyword in all development programs for the educational process.
With the completion of building the knowledge-based society in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the availability of modern technologies and infrastructures, our responsibilities to provide electronic content and keep pace with the latest developments and technology in the field of education and training have become greater. This is because the transformation to digital learning has become one of the most important educational policies adopted in our educational institutions.
Therefore, Umm Al-Qura University seeks, within its strategic goals emanating from the Saudi Vision 2030, to keep abreast of the latest developments in information and communication technology. In this way, the university aims to better support the development of e-learning and distance education technologies, and accordingly meet the rapid development needs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Through our website, we hope to highlight the most important scientific activities and the most important support services provided by Umm Al-Qura University through our deanship, with its strong foundations, long-standing reputation, and great impact. We also pledge to exert even greater efforts and perseverance at work, committed to the directions of the leadership of Umm Al-Qura University, and adhere to the approach of the economic and development map drawn by the wise leadership of our country within the framework of the Saudi Vision 2030, thereby contributing to the capacity building under the National Transformation Program.
