The College of Applied Sciences held the “Nanotechnology: The Future Revolution” program to introduce nanoscience and shed light on the latest technologies and research in this field. The scientific lectures continued for two consecutive days, on Monday and Tuesday evenings, 24 and 25 Rajab 1442 A.H. The program was attended by His Excellency the Dean of the College of Applied Sciences, Prof. Wael Al-Amoudi, and Her Excellency the Vice Dean for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Tahani Bawazeer.
His Excellency the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ismail Al-Thaqafi, gave the opening speech in which he welcomed the attendees and presented an overview of the program and its objectives, represented in the exchange of experience between the different disciplines in science. After this, His Excellency the Dean of the College of Applied Sciences, Prof. Wael Al-Amoudi, addressed the attendees, pointing out the importance of nanoscience in our life. In his speech, he also thanked the faculty members who participated in the scientific lectures as well as the college employees and male and female students for attending and interacting with the various activities that are held by the college. Moreover, His Excellency expressed his appreciation to the organizers of the program and the work team at the Student Affairs Unit of the College Vice Deanship for Academic Affairs.
This introduction was followed by the scientific lectures, in which the dialogue was moderated by Dr. Dina Katoua.

The practical lectures witnessed a distinguished presence of faculty members and students, in which the attendees were allowed to ask questions and take part in discussions.
At the end of the activities, Dr. Ismail Al-Thaqafi, on behalf of the Dean of the College, offered sincere thanks and appreciation to the presenters of the scientific lectures for their active participation in the success of the program. He also thanked the Student Affairs Unit and the coordinators, Dr. Dina Katoua and Ms. Israa Obaid, for their efforts in organizing the event, hoping that such scientific lectures would achieve the desired goals.
