Dr. Tariq bin Abdullah Ahmad Dhafar, Dean of Al-Lith College of Health Sciences, visited Al-Laith General Hospital on Wednesday 26th Jumada I 1438H (22nd February 2017). During the visit, which aimed to increase cooperation between the College and the Hospital, Dr. Dhafar met with Mr. Ahmad bin Ateyya Al-Hartoumi, Assistant Manager of the Hospital.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Al-Hartoumi welcomed the Dean of Al-Lith College of Health Sciences, appreciating such visit as it came to deepen the roots of cooperation between the College and the Hospital. He also commended such meetings that were reflected, God willing, in the high quality of health and medical output in the region.
On the other hand, Dr. Tariq Dhafar confirmed the significance of cooperation and partnership between the College and the Hospital. He explained that Al-Lith College of Health Sciences worked on the activation of cooperation aspects in order to serve the students, staff members as well as patients. This was through consultation, research, training, development and benefitting from the scientific and medical expertise at the University. In addition, he expressed thanks and appreciation to Al-Laith Hospital for welcoming the extension of mutual cooperation bridges between the two parties.
In this context, the meeting was attended by Dr. Muhammad bin Ahmad Fo’ad (Vice Dean of the College for Quality and Development), Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdali (the College’s Coordinator) and Mr. Ahmad Khammash As-Sayyed (the College’s Manager of Public Relations and Media).
