The University College in Al-Leith cooperated with the College of Health Sciences in Al-Leith to organize an educational seminar on the emerging Coronavirus and its prevention methods. The event was held at the main lecture hall of the University College on Tuesday, 16 Jumada Al-Athani1, 1441 A.H., in the presence and sponsorship of His Excellency the Dean of the College of Health Sciences in Al-Leith, Dr. Tariq bin Abdullah Ahmad Zhafar, the Vice Dean of Student Affairs at Al-Leith, Dr. Amir bin Saeed bin Amir Al-Shihri, and His Excellency the Vice Dean of Educational Affairs, Dr. Ahmad bin Salim bin Mahfouzh.
The seminar was delivered by Dr. Muhammad Ahmad Fouad and Dr. Al-Ashaari Adam Eissa, and covered an overview of Coronavirus, the symptoms of the disease, and its modes of transmission and prevention.
A group of students from the College of Health Sciences in Al-Leith participated in the organization of this educational seminar. These students were: Sami Khalid Dhaifullah Al-Umari, Faisal Ali Abu Talib Al-Umari, Muhammad Eissa Salih Al-Kathiri, and Ahmad Nur Ahmad Al-Dhubiani.
The seminar was presented as part of a series of educational seminars and lectures offered by the College of Health Sciences to raise awareness about the emerging Coronavirus. This is in line with the policy that has been followed by Umm Al-Qura University with the aim of spreading health awareness among the university community, including students, professors, and employees.
