The Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education launched the Digital Training Platform. The platform was developed to support digital transformation, and the educational process, and as part of the efforts exerted to provide a digital learning environment at the UQU for the benefit of the academic staff members and students. The launch of the platform came in line with the launch of the Blackboard e-learning system by His Excellency the President of the University on 10 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H., and its adoption as the main e-learning system from among the university's academic services.
The platform includes brief training manuals and short instructional videos covering various themes related to the use of e-learning and virtual classroom systems, with the aim of encouraging the academic staff members and students to embrace digital learning. The academic staff members can access the content of the Digital Library for Training at the following link: https://uq.sa/d5pLO3
It can also be accessed by contacting the deanship technical support team through the communication channels available on the deanship website.
Moreover, the deanship is also pleased to provide a series of training courses for the various colleges and departments to train the academic staff members on the use of the e-learning system (Blackboard). To request such a service, the dean of the college or his deputy is kindly requested to fill out the form at the following link: https://uq.sa/oDWHiP
Note that the previous e-learning system (D2L) will not be used after the end of the first semester of the academic year 1440-1441 A.H.
