Under the auspices of President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education at Umm Al-Qura University is honored to invite you to attend the ceremony of Umm Al-Qura University Award for e-learning on Sunday, 10 of Rabi' Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H., corresponding to 18 November, 2018 A.C., at 1:30 p.m., in King Abdul Aziz Historical Hall.

Umm Al-Qura University E-Learning Award is divided into three branches:

• “The Excellence Award in Using E-learning Systems”, which aims to motivate faculty members at the University to use the tools of the e-learning systems in facilitating their daily tasks, and to encourage students to make the best use of modern technology in the learning process.

• “The Excellence Award in Developing E-curricula", which aims to motivate faculty members at the University to share e-curriculum by submitting it to the electronic learning portal accessible on the site of the University.

• “The Excellence Award Enriching the Content through SHMS", which aims to encourage faculty members to contribute to enriching the open content through SHMS, as one of the initiatives of the National Center that seeks a creation of a sustainable path of a partnership in content design and its improvement and also promote the Saudi digital learning content.

In addition, the ceremony will include honoring the most frequent users of the system, and the launch of the new e-learning system.
