Terms of reference
The functions of the Translation Program committee are to:

Design and update the curriculum for the BA translation courses and the MA in Translation Studies program.

Establish and review the MA program's policies and regulations.

Review applications of prospective MA students and making admission decisions. This includes establishing the admission criteria, evaluating applications, conducting interviews, and selecting the students who meet the program's requirements.

Participate in the selection process for faculty members who will teach in the MA program.

Monitor the MA program and making improvements as needed. This includes regular assessments, and gathering feedback from MA students and faculty.

Provide guidance and support to students in the MA in Translation Studies program. This includes assigning academic advisors to students, reviewing individual progress, and helping MA students with any other academic concerns.

Collaborate with other academic institutions, and professional organisations in the field of Translation Studies to stay updated on academic as well as industry trends and demands.

Promote the MA in Translation Studies program. This includes attending conferences, organizing informational sessions, maintaining program-related websites, and utilizing various marketing strategies.

Revise and develop the translation courses curricula, including textbooks, references, and resources.
