Based on the keenness of the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education to raise the efficiency of the remote education process and to achieve the utmost benefit from the educational systems available to the UQU academic staff and students, the deanship is pleased to launch the training program entitled: ‘Be Professional in Creating Tests on the Blackboard System (Assessment 1)’. The program will be held during the second semester (1442 A.H.) within a series of training courses specialized on the assessment tools of the Blackboard Learning Management System.
The training program has been designed to achieve the following:
Enhancing the skills of the academic staff members in handling the assessment tools available on the Blackboard system, in a proper manner.
Training and raising the awareness of the students about handling the assessment tools available on the Blackboard system in a proper manner.
Training on designing and professionally creating electronic assessment (assignments, electronic tests, oral tests).
Raising awareness on how to best use the electronic test management tools, and reducing plagiarism and cheating.
Understanding the test assessment mechanism and Grade Center management.
Enhancing the work by building transparent and fair assessments using the grade rules tool available on the Blackboard learning management system.
Target Category:
UQU academic staff members and students.
Program Implementation Period:
The program will take place on Wednesday, 3 March 2021 A.H., and will continue until Thursday, 11 March 2021 A.H., with a total of 29 training hours at different and flexible times to suit all university affiliates.

This mode adjusts the website for colorblind users such as Protanopia, Deuteranopia, Tritanopia, and others. It also helps users with Cataracts and Glaucoma.
Dyslexia Friendly Mode
Helps users with Dyslexia
This mode adjusts the website to be easier to read for people with Dyslexia, which is a reading disability characterized by trouble with reading despite normal intelligence.
ADHD Friendly Mode
Reduces distractions and improve focus
This mode helps users with ADHD and Neurodevelopmental disorders to read, browse, and focus on the main website elements more easily while significantly reducing distractions.
Blindness Mode
Allows using the site with your screen-reader
This mode configures the website to be compatible with screen-readers such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack. A screen-reader is software for blind users that is installed on a computer and smartphone, and websites must be compatible with it.
