The College of Applied Sciences Organizes a Course Entitled: “Work Stress and Professional Time Management”

The College of Applied Sciences, in cooperation with the College of Education, held a course entitled, “Work Stress and Professional Time Management”, remotely via the WebEx program, on Tuesday, 27 Jumada Al-Thani, 1442 A.H. The course presenter was Dr. Wafaa bint Abdulaziz Mohder, Assistant Professor of Educational Administration and Planning.

The course was launched by the Vice Dean of the College of Applied Sciences for Female Students Affairs, Dr. Tahani Bawazeer, who welcomed the presence of the Dean of the College, Prof. Wael Al-Amoudi, and the honorable guests: the staff members and male and female students of the college. She thanked them for their attendance and interaction with the different activities organized by the college.

Dr. Wafaa Mohder began by presenting the themes of the course, which highlighted the reasons of workplace stress and the stresses resulting from the organizational aspect and the nature of the work. She reviewed strategies of dealing with different stresses of work, and spoke about the significance of time management to finish the work in a timely manner and the importance of setting an accurate and specific schedule to contribute to accomplishing the work.

The course was attended by a distinctive gathering of university affiliates who were given the opportunity to put questions about the topic of the course.

At the end, the Vice Dean of the College of Applied Sciences, Dr. Tahani Bawazeer, thanked and expressed her appreciation to the course presenter and also appreciated the fruitful cooperation between the two colleges, which contributes to the enrichment of knowledge and the exchange of experiences.
