Public Health College organizes Workshop on Examinations and Research Regulations

On Monday 7/6/1438 Hijri, 6/3/2017, as part of developing and updating its regulations, and after consulting with the College Vice Deanship and staff, the College of Public Health and Health Informatics organized a workshop for discussing two important documents:

  1. Examinations’ Instructions and Regulations; the draft was proposed by Dr. Moatassem Khalafallah, the Head of Examinations Committee. The Regulations were based on UQU regulations for organizing examinations and included different issues, including: examinations committee duties, preparing examinations content and instructions for examinations supervisors and students.
  2. Student Graduation Research Projects Rules; and the rules were prepared based on the UQU regulations and included different points, including distribution of students groups, specifying research topics, appointing supervisors, timing and means of conducting student graduation projects, instructions for writing and submitting thesis and arbitration and grading criteria.

The workshop was attended and run by the College Dean, Dr. Waheeb bin Dakhilullah Al-Harby, with the participation of Dr. Ayman Gouda Abolfotouh, Supervisor of the Vice Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research. The workshop witnessed the attendance and participation of the Vice Deans, Departments’ Heads and College Staff and Employees.

During this workshop, the attendees discussed many points, made their comments and notes, and agreed on a number of points to be included in the two documents before filing them to the College Board for approval and circulation.
