A team representing  the Deanship of e-Learning and Distance Education participated in the forum of major selection organized by the Deanship of Preparatory Year at King Abdul-Aziz Historical Hall on Monday Jumada Al-Oula 23, 1438 H corresponding to February 20, 2017. The deanship participation included a pavilion showcasing services provided by the deanship for the student and faculty members besides distributing a user guide to explain how to use the e-learning portal offered by Umm Al-Qura University. 

The deanship delegation included Eng. Mahmoud Khidir, Dr. Al-Asaad Al-Simairani, Dr. Hassan Al-Sabagh, Dr. Mozir Al-Hamzawi and Dr. Osama Al-Jarari. They have introduced to the visitors of the forum the advantages of the e-learning and the available infrastructure and systems. 

The deanship also contributed to the parallel  training activity provided for the students in the forum whereas Dr. Hassan Al-Sabagh presented a  training course on the mobile applications.
