The UQU Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education concluded the Google Ambassadors Program yesterday (Tuesday). The program received significant interaction from the male and female students of the university, as the number of those registered in it amounted to more than 360 students. Thirty students from each college and institute in the university were chosen for the program, which was held for the first time at the level of the Saudi universities in partnership between the deanship and Google.

The program aims to increase the technical skills of the university students, and provide them with the opportunity to take advantage of the expertise and programs of international companies in the technical and creative fields.

His Excellency the Dean of E-Learning and Distance Education, Dr. Khalid bin Hatim Al-Mutairi, said that this program comes within the strategic plan of the deanship to expand and consolidate fruitful partnerships with international parties. The plan also aims to provide an opportunity for the university students to join the programs and courses of corporate companies, thus improving their chances of employment and providing them with expertise following their graduation from the university. He added that such programs boost the leading role of UQU in achieving the best partnerships which will benefit our male and female students in the university.
