His Excellency the Dean of the College of Applied Sciences, Dr. Hatim bin Muhammad Al-Tas, received the annual report outlining the achievements of the Department of Mathematical Sciences from the Head of the Department, Dr. Abdullah bin Awad Al-Ahmari. The Dean of the College reviewed the report that documented the department's accomplishments, its academic, research and educational activities, and its scientific lectures. The report also outlines the role of the department in serving the university and the community, and touched on its vision, mission, goals, summer training, and the decisions and recommendations taken by the department for the academic year 1439–1440 A.H.

The Dean of the College of Applied Sciences praised the great effort and achievements made by the Department of Mathematical Sciences, and wished much progress and success to the members of the department. His Excellency appreciated their continuous care and keenness in securing the students' interests in the college and university.
